North Dakota American Legion

Baseball Hall of Fame

The North Dakota American Legion established the American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame to recognize individuals from and throughout the state who have contributed to the promotion of The American Legion Baseball Program in North Dakota, and persons who have participated in The American Legion Baseball Program and have gone on to excel in the field of baseball or other endeavors.

The first inductee was American Legion Baseball organizer and life-long supporter of the program, John P. “Jack” Williams of Fargo in 1976.  Since that time, 75 other individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame is located in the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in the Jamestown Civic Center and is open Monday-Friday from 8:00a-5:00p.
